You Can't or You Won't?

You Can't or You Won't?

You Can't or You Won't?

I just can't do this! I have no experience. I wouldn't have a clue how to even start. I am not talented in that area.  I would  just make things worse.  People have told me I am to dumb, lazy, weak, small, big to accomplish that.

What is your excuse?  Mine was always that I didn't have a clue where to start or I listened to what other people said.  I was always taking the pessimistic view of things. I didn't even think of myself as being a pessimistic person. I thought I was a POSTIVE person.

Anytime I tell myself "I Can't", I am not being positive. All I have to do is look back. I see many things I accomplished that when I started, I didn't have a clue.  I was able to do these things by learning. Finding someone to teach me. Reading up on how to do different things.

I am starting a new job on August 6th. I have been hired to do the maintenance on 35 apartments. I have NO experience! I am going to have to learn fast! Plumbing, Electrical, Plastering, and Paper Work,  all in the job description.  I CAN do this. I must do this. This is a two person job as my wife will be responsible for  keeping the apartments full and doing all the paper work for the government as this is a subsidized housing complex for people over 62 who are low income or people with disabilities of any age.  My wife can do her job, but if I fail, we both fail. I CAN DO THIS!

We all must choose.  Can we? or Can't we? I choose to believe that I can. And I will!!

Thank you! We are determined! A job around here isn’t that hard to get. I can’t figure out why jobs go without people taking them. I think that a lot of people won’t take a job if it doesn’t pay a lot more than what they can get on unemployment. I have NEVER drawn unemployment and am proud of it!! We are excited to get started. Thanks for reading some of my blogs. I hope you see more of my positive attitude than some of the negative.. lol
Oh, and by the way, your English is just fine. You probably are more correct in proper usage than I am. LOL

I’ve seen multiple adverts of " we need a maid " and others about working at bars or coffee shops, but I guess some people just cant be bothered or seen working on what they think are " low jobs" =\ personally, I think that’s stupid! A job it’s a job! Better than robbing banks or living only with the government’s support! I’d do any type of job if I had to! People can be extremely lazy sometimes, hehe! But I think it’s awesome how you keep with that positive vibe!! I know a lot of youngersters that dont have half the will you do, or passion for lifee !! I never talked like this with a grown up, really, hehe x3 but I think it’s awesome that you have this blog and share your thoughts with us!

I don’t have much money and what I do have is owed to hospitals so all I have to share are my thoughts. LOL Well, not all, I usually have food in the house and anyone is welcome to come and break bread with us, until the food is gone. Then we will all be hungry together, but I have found one can face just about anything if they are with friends and family so all is good.

Aaaw! You’re so adorable! One time my mom gave a lot of food to this man who was asking for some money on the street! she went back home and brought him a lot of things! (and thanks for complementing my english by the way!) And, do you mind if I ask in what consists your head “problem” ? In my whole life, I had to do three surgeries! Two to my feet and one to my back was a little scary =\

People stand on corners here with signs that say WORK FOR FOOD. I always stop and tell them I have work for them, or offer to take them for a meal. They usually turn me down as all they really want is money.
1988, I slipped and fell on an icy sidewalk hitting the back of my head. I started having blind spells so ended up in the hospital. It took them 6 weeks to discover that my system was producing my spinal fluid than my brain could absorb and in mean time I was losing memory both long and short term. By the time I had my first surgery I ended up in the hospital for a year. ( 11 months actually) and then home for two more years, with my wife providing rehab. I had to learn everything all over again. Things like taking a shower, getting dressed, everything! It took me about 12 years to finally get back to driving truck and even then found it was too much. My wife went through truck driving school so she could help me, but then I came down with Diabetes so could no longer drive commercially. I took the job at Sams Club before I got sick again.. We are going to work together again starting the 6th of August. We keep moving forward.. always with faith that we will be fine. This is the short version, lol

Wow… Knowing all that makes me admire you even more! Im glad you didnt quit and you’re here now! Happy and alive! Must have been extremely hard for you :s Re-learning everything, a constant fight, everyday.. People should know about your story! Maybe you could even write a book! And your family always stayed beside you… that’s awesome, really that no one abandoned you ! If only everyone treated their family members so kindly - And specially your life, your life-partner! I think it’s very cute, really! I hope you dont have any more problems :s Well, Im still very young (actually im 17 years old!) but I know that life’s not all pink… Most people would just give up if they were in your situation! But all you have now, you can thank to yourself, family, friends and doctors! you all worked with one goal! make you get better!!

I lost all my old friends, they couldn’t understand the changes. My wife lost most of hers too partly because she devoted her life to me and had no time to keep up with friendships. My Wife and Daughter were always there for me, even though they grieved the loss of the old me. It took my son some time to accept that the father he knew was gone, but he finally got through it and we now have a great relationship.
Most survivors of brain injury are basically abandoned by wife and family because they can’t accept the huge changes. Recovery was/is hard, but it is my only choice. I must move on and become as independant as possible. Worked with one goal, still working with one goal.. the support is wonderful. My Cheerleaders!

I think you really are someone amazing I didnt know the old you, but this person that you’ve become, at least in my opinion, is a very special person. Your life story, could have ended with a very bad ending. But thanks to your family and your own will to get better, you can know be proud of everything you achieved! It’s not your fault that you had that problem and you know that true friends would have stayed beside you. No matter how much you had changed, they should try to help you get back on your feet. You dont need friends who will leave you when you most need them. so, everyone who stayed, everyone who gave you a second chance, is as special as you! Im really glad I know of your story! Makes me feel more positive about my own life! Your wife is truely an angel!! And you make a very cute couple!

You like me now? Give me time, I am always on a quest to improve. LOL If not for my wife, my story would have not turned out so well. I owe her more than I can ever repay. I will work on that debt until the day I die.

You’re a good person! I could never dislike you! And well, I defend that we can learn everyday, with everyone! I didnt even know that one could recover so well from such a brain problem :s ! And yes! Your wife must be a great lady too! You kinda remind me of my own grandparents _ they’re veeery supportive towards each other and they made me see that love really does exist and that you can love someone and have a solid relationships for years and years! That’s another reason why I admire you and your wife!

Now I KNOW I am old!!! You are the FIFTH, yes 5th person to refer to me as Old, or Elder, or “like my Grandparents” or.. LOL, just giving you a hard time. I am old, just don’t like to admit it.
When it comes to marriage, marry a friend! Someone from whom there are NO SECRETS. If you have to have someone else to share with, then you are not with the right partner. Jane is my best friend!!

The great recovery is all my wife’s doing! I may have had to do the work, but she came up with the therapies and PUSHED me.

My grandfather doesnt like it when I call him grandpa, hehe!! I always call him by his name! I guess it makes him feel younger or something!! And aaaw! Well, you know what? I think it’s awesome for someone to be able to say that they’re old! Not many people live long enough for that, right? And besides that, look at everything you’ve done! Look at all the experience you got! You sir, never feel uncomfortable for having many years on your shoulders! Take pride on it, hehe! I think you’re actually supeeer active and energetic for “an old person” ! Fishing, blogging, writing, having a good sense of humour! Most of the " old people " from here, cant even turn on a computer, hehe! And aaaw - you actually make me think of someone when you tell me of a best friend like that… The person that I always blog about, is indeed my best friend! I like him aaaaaaaa lot! If I could ever share my life with him, I’d be the luckiest person in the world!

The new things are always a new challenge. The major question arises by rush my essay writing services is that whether we can able to do this or not. Every person has to face so many challenging situations in their live. So we must have to looking forward and gain enough courage to encounter the little problems.
